Boss Micro BR questions

hey,

to anyoneone who owns a micro BR i have a few questions.

1. can i record throguh my pedals or the line-out on my amp?

2. what kind of mics can i use to record vocals into it?

I considered the Micro BR, but went with the Boss BR600. I don't regret that decision. BR600 has 4 more tracks and is loaded with features. It's not that much larger than the MicroBR (a bit wider) and it's much more user friendly. Cheezy patches for the guitar though. If I were recording guitar only, maybe the Micro BR would be a better deal. For everything else, I think the BR600 is superior.
