Who's played one of these. Supposed to be a bit Big Muff sounding with a two band eq? They seem to be average BOSS prices on eBay.

I have one. It doesn't sound anything like a Big Muff. It does have a lot of the graininess you find in a lot of Boss distortions. To me, it sounds more like they took a DS-1 and adjusted the EQ to be much flatter. The EQ knobs are funky; it's midrange and bass controls without a treble control.

Does it have alot of treble content without an eq to control it or is it somewhat balance? (The ds-1 reference where the tone control adds way too much harsh highs or makes it dark with only a small useable range)
