Boss RE-20 Space Echo - 2nd Thoughts

I actually was putting this pedal up for sale on the forums. No Bites, so I was going to put it on EBay. Wanting to make sure everything was okay (its a 4 week old, new purchased pedal) I plugged it in to noodle and check its settings and make sure all was well.

Now I am having 2nd thoughts about selling it. At first, I did not think it was for me. I am mostly a acoustic guitar player and this seemed more at home with a strat or paul. Well last night, playing a few phrases and runs, I started palm muting and well....OH MY:eyecrazy: The tones that came from my Taylor were amazing. Then I started playing a little more with the controls, using the direct switch in the back, adjusting the bass for the reverb, and that is when it really started adding to the fullness of my playing and it was so easy to stay in beat ( I have a hard time getting my delays to match the timing sometimes, even with tap tempo). Its almost like this emulation of a the original Space echo is really trying to recreate the tape head spacing and .... well, I am no expert on the original tape delays of the past but I am now beginning to understand what all the fuss is about.

Anyway, I am a happy camper!!!!

Guess what...... It is not going to Ebay anytime soon.
