boss rv 3 question

a few months ago, the switch on my boss reverb/delay pedal stopped working (the pedal was always on).

i decided tonight that i'd replace the switch.

however, when i opened it up, i found that the cause of the problem was one of the wires coming off of the switch had disconnected from the board (or one of the jacks, i'm not sure).

one wire is purple, and its still attached. the other wire is black, and its the one causing the issue.

i am unsure of where the other end of this wire needs to go. if any one has any ideas (or has an rv-3 they can take apart and inspect), please let me know.

Sorry can't help as i havent opened up my dads rv-3 but it had the same problem but i barely use it anyway.

ah, looks like its a ground.
