boss rv2?

so i was given a boss rv2 digital reverb pedal, no idea if it works or not. they cannot run on batteries and my power supplies are not handy at the moment, but assuming it does work, how is it? from what i know its an early compact digital reverb and it cant run on a battery, thats it. anyone got experience with one?

I have an RV-3 about the same as the -2 but with a bunch of additional settings that I never use.
I like the basic reverb it produces.
Nowhere close to the spring reverb in my Super but much more portable:14:

Me too - I have an RV3, which I think is a great pedal. 4 reverbs, 3 delays, and 4 combos.

Basically a DD3 + an RV3

Plate, Hall, and two Rooms. I can find a use for all of them. Used to do a killer Delay + Reverb lead setting when I had it on my board.

It can get pretty "atmospheric" if you want too.
