ULTIMATE small/mini pedal board

A delay where you can set the mod rate/depth and EQ the echoes is ideal. I've been using the DL4 mkII lately. It is a little big for a small board, though. If I was doing a tiny board, I think I'd just use a Flashback.

They can be very dark. It's a nice sound sometimes, and I could see how it might work really well for certain uses . . . but I sometimes want brighter delays.

Tele > CC > Twin, for example.

Raging thick pickup in a Les Paul with heavy distortion, not so much.

Had a friend who got a CC because some Strat playing geezer told him to. I said get a DD3 - because I know what he plays. A month later friend says 'Yeah, I got rid of the CC, it was too dark' and he had a DD3T

If you have very specific needs - like depth/rate/eq of Modulation...yeah. Just get the Flashback and get in there and program it.

i have a carbon copy, its ok, but i prefer the vapor trail and boss dm2 for analog delays

The Vapor Trail Deluxe is probably all I'd need, but I don't have personal experience with it. I love the sound of the regular Vapor Trail, but it has presets. I need at least 1 long delay and 1 slapback.
