SOLD
For Sale: Boss SD-1 Overdrive with Monte Allums GT Mod. One of the best-sounding and most-versatile SD-1 mods available. Read about it here. (Link to Monte Allums website.)
The GT is a lot smoother than a typical SD-1, with more clarity and less of a mid-hump. The germanium transistor gives a smooth vintage edge on top of the overdrive sound. It has a toggle switch to select between symmetrical and asymmetrical clipping, so it'll do a smoother TS kind of overdrive or the raunchier SD-1 style. The 2x gain switch gives a presence and gain boost that pushed the pedal almost into fuzz territory. If you only have room for one dirt box in your rig, this would be a great choice.
This in an older MIT SD-1. In addition to the GT Mod, it has been converted to run on the modern 9 VDC PSA-style power supply. I also added the IndyGuitarist bleed-fix mod, so it's pure clean when bypassed.
$65 shipped to the CONUS.
