i scream, you scream, we all scream about Tube Screamers

The one with the bass and mids controls. Anything recent. Looks like this:

I think MK IV is the latest, but one without the little middle switch is cool too.

The 500hz control is a fantastic feature. It’s not just how much you boost, but what frequencies. When Digitech had the “iStomp,” one of the virtual pedals you.could put on it was the “Amp Driver” that had a 600hz band you could control the level and overdrive of to give amps a more “metal” voicing.

i have a green rhino mkii, slightly different that the mkiv in that it has a 100hz knob and curve knob which goes from "mids to flat" and also doesnt have the switch to go to classic mode and bypass the extra eq knobs. both are great

yes, i find it has more output though i havent ab/d them to see how much more. ive never had an issue getting enough output for a boost with the green rhino even with hot pups

The Bonsai is a lot of pedal. It has so many to pick from.... Most of them sound very good.

I have run quite a few over the years and always go back to the EHX East River Drive.....it just sounds.... exactly like what I like.

I have grown fond of this little nux horseman klon clone mini pedal here lately.

Ya'll aint gonna believe this -except maybe Securb -but "Weedwacker" algorithm on Eventide H90 can do a crazy good Tube Screamer -and you can sculpt in a way that no actual analog pedal Screamer can do -also hit a H90 with a fat compressed overdriven tone into the weedwacker -and youve got some real magic.

I have used the FraDIavlo and love it, but have not played around with Weedwacker a lot yet.

Oh no, I can fully attest to this myself. It's not only very flexible, it's the only H90 distortion algo I completely understand

It wasn't me, but it isn't like it is vastly different.
Oh, yeah, I'm not really complaining. At first I thought maybe my account got hacked, but nah. I guess someone thought this thread would've been funnier. And it kind of is, LOL.
