is the Boss SD-2 Dual Overdrive pedal rare? on ebay someone is selling one for $220...??? i paid $35 for mine a few years ago...

i saw that too, my friend has one but i didnt think they were that valuable. He has one of those old analog boss delays those go for 250$ and up, he paid 75 a couple of years ago.

the dual is a neat pedal though

Save your cash, they're not that rare. Get an OD-2, it's got two modes and supposedly it's just a little better. OD-2r is the version with the Remote jack. If I had $200 to spend on a Boss pedal, I'd get a DC-2....

what is a DC-2?

i have the Dual Overdrive pedal already... mine has the jack for the remote switch.. it is handy for rythym and solo setups

I don't think the SD-2 is that rare. I got mine for a lot less. It's an awesome pedal if you use a short cable to plug it into the amp and a long cable to hook up the switcher. The thing I like about the SD-2's overdrive tones is that they are much smoother than what is typical of Boss. I usually like the rough, grainy sound of Boss's overdrives and distortions, but it's cool to have some smooth ones.
