Bottom 3 string's

Hi all, just wondering the bottom 3 string's of my lp stopped working? Wiring all good? What could be the problem? Cheers regards Jim.

In conventional pickups, either you hear no strings or them all. What's it doing? What pickups are in there? When did you notice this start happening?

Semor Duncan twin humbies, 3 top string's work nothing out of the bottom 3? Power to both pick-ups? Changed the string's and nothing off the bottom string's? Been playing up a bit before string change on and off? Cheers regards Jim.

My guess is your bottom 3 strings aren't magnetic. What string set did you put on there? Acoustic strings often aren't magnetic.

Yah, that's a stumper. Shouldn't even be possible with all things as usual.
Unless, as Christopher says, you have some sort of nonferrous strings on it.

Gently tap on the poles of the pickup with a screwdriver with the guitar plugged in. You should be able to hear all 6 poles through the amp.

when you say power, are these active pups? as in there is a battery in the guitar? that is a very odd issue unless you are using non magnetic wound strings some how
