Bottom flatwork on single coil question

Basically I'm wondering if I can get SSL's (SSL-52/SSL-1 etc.) with the bottom flatwork to be more like a quarter pound. Without the flanged out piece? They are going into a carvin and the carvin routing is not flanged.

Like this basically:

Re: Bottom flatwork on single coil question

Be sure to specify you want the lead coming out the underside of the bobbin or they'll put it coming out the middle, which means you'll need the flange anyway.

Re: Bottom flatwork on single coil question

The SSL-5 & SSL-6 are built on bobbins without lips, so you should be able to get one from the custom shop with only a small upcharge.
