Bought the second USA Washburn Dime Stealth built!

Dime got #1 and #2 went to NAMM where a dealer bought it and put it in the back room. One of the guys was a Dime FREAK so It had sat in the case and never been sold--- that was untill TODAY:naughty::cool2:. The dude who put it up passed away in November. Took a look at the SN and holy S%$ the last three digits are 002 with only a handfull built that means it's the second Washburn Dime USA Stealth ever made! FLAWLESS and a true NOS brand new guitar WOW!!

he started with dean and used them till they went under in the early-mid 90s. then washburn picked him up. he went back to dean a few years after they were resurrected (i think he switched back in mid '04).

other than the DFH, i still like his washburns better. probably cause dean's frets are too small.


also, dean will never have the culprit!

That's an awesome score. I prefer the more rounded guitars Dime used, but it's still a truly stunning find. Congrats!

And yeah, Washburns will always seem more "Dime" to me than any Dean.
