having had a look at the HC reviews tho', one is tempted to suspect that they just might all be written by the manufacturer, I would be happy to be corrected if someone knows different.italic zero said:www.bareknucklepickups.co.uk seems to be popular. The Warpig is like 22.5k. :firedevil
The Miracle Man seems more similar to the JB though.

If not, they should all be called 'Miracle', as everyone who has just bought one model has ordered one or more different types immediately - amazing :newangel:
Maybe, but how many user reviews say "suitable for all positions"?italic zero said:Keeley uses them for his pedal clips though... I think the reviews are real.

The Custom 5 has similar output as the JB and pinch harmonics jump out easily, but the pickup is voiced better, to my ears. Good ears, I might add.
If the JB has a slightly loose low end, thick mids, and buttery highs, the Custom 5 has bigger, tighter bass, neutral mids so the wood and amp take precedence, and the highs are clear and more vintage sounding.
For neck pickups, I like the 59, Jazz, Seth Lover, or Pearly Gates.
