This guitar is one of the best and brightest new ideas I've seen. The New J-15..brilliant! A true Gibson Acoustic Electric in every sense of the word.;

Its patterned upon a J-45. Whjat makes this very special is the use oif a Walnut Fretboard and back and sides.. Gibson probably said, we got all tis Walnut sitting around..lets do somthign with it!
Its a 16" dreanought, like the J-45. It really adds up to excetional value !; Sitka Spruce top, and pretty stunning new Walnut back/sides. Maple neck with Walnut stripe. X-braced body. Nitrocellulose gloss lacquer ( none of the phony Taylor satin crap) Dot neck inlays .Body Binding. LR Baggs Electronics.
This thing could be my first Gibson Acoustic. As opposed to a Gibson Jumbo or aAdanced jumbo ( which have neck binding also), the waist is not as drawn in- meaning you have more of a balanced sound than a coaxial tone of a Jumbo with a tighter waist.
