Brass Guitar Saddles - Strat

I'm looking to order some brass saddles to put on my strat, I am thinking about adding 3 brass to the higher strings and keeping the others stock.
I've checked eBay, and they do not have much to offer,
So What I am asking is where on the net should I look for some brass saddles for a strat at a good price?

I've heard Graphite saddles give you the same effect as the brass saddles, and they are easier to find.

Allparts might sell single brass saddles. I use just a single brass saddle for the high E string on some of my Strats. Fattens up the tone a little and the smoother surface of brass gives less buzz or string slap against the saddle. Alot of times the high E will soundlike it's buzzing on the frets when really it's rattling against the steel saddle surface. Brass helps eliminate that. That's the only string I'd use one on though. Eric Johnson does the same thing: brass saddle on the high E only. Lew

Never saw these before: Brass saddles with a screw to lock the string into the saddle and 2 height adjustment legs like a Gotoh-Wilkinson tremelo. Expensive, but might be worth trying!

I have all my strats setup with the stock saddles on E,A,D and Graphtech Stringsavers on the G,B,E Looks a little funky, but cool, I think. The benefit is that I retain the hard belltones on the wound strings, and the icey edge is taken off the plain strings.
Honestly, the string to string tonal balance is perfect that way.....that's why I've done it like that for over 5 years. Plus, one set is good for 2 guitars!

Before ordering any saddles, make sure you order the right ones. The American Std saddles have the screw offset. The Vintage type saddles have the screw directly in the center.

yea, my e and b strings keep snapping. I use EB 11's and bend a ton these days but for some reason the strings wont stop snapping.Should i look into these brass saddles or graphtechs?

I don't recommend brass saddles, myself. You'll get better sustain and tone from GraphTechs.

how much is a set of graph techs vs brass. I may just get one of both to try each out, i got cash to blow.

And what about bone/tusq saddles? Does this make it all softer? I presume bone weighs much less than brass...

I have found that brass saddles add a nice warm balance to those old mazac bridges found on 70's Strats-- really brings out the acoustic undertones.
