Brass Nut and Tremolo Units?

Does anyone here have a brass nut on a tremolo-equipped guitar? If yes, does it stay in tune? Do strings break easier versus bone/graphite?

I was thinking if I should try a brass nut to go with a Wilkinson 2-pt trem.

I have a Malmsteen strat with a brass nut- on all of my guitar nuts I put some big bends nut sauce in the slots, and never have tuning or breakage issues

You don't do dive bombs with those right? I was actually thinking of making my trem float so I can also pull it up.
