bridge duncan for a high gain amp?

SABOTAGE

need a bridge pu that maintains clarity+ punch through real high gain?
the guitar is a 1887 kramer pacer imperial with a maple body and OFR.
the guitar has a JB and jazz that came stock. i like the jazz but the JB lacks low mids and bass but otherwise a real nice pup
the tone i have in mind getting is "perry mason" by ozzy but would rather not use active EMG's

Duncan Custom or Distortionm could fit your bill well, IMO more likely the Custom. But it depends on your amp as well ;)

Zerb's right, if you have a gainy amp, the Custom will get you there. For more push, the DD is very nice.

I have a distortion and it maintains the high frequencies, which you may not want. I'm with Zerb on the Custom, but if you want more Bass and lower mids, check out the Invader.

thanks guys! is it safe to say the custom is like JB with more low end girth?
i really like the stock JB which is very old(1986-87) but it lacks low thump?
is this only cause it is so old?

The Custom will be a good choice but, the Invader will not have clarity at all. Stay away from it if you want clarity.

Maple body? The Custom Custom is the warmest and fattest of the Customs IMO.
It has great tone and output, and will be the least ice pickey in that guitar.
