Bridge for fender strat usa

Hey people. Im new here - just about to get a fender USA strat. I wanna replace bridge. Maybe middle too, with mind to replace neck later. Here what I liked about my old mex strat / what I want:

Bridge: For solo to cut through. Wouldnt want too high output/sesitive though.

Middle: umm... lil 59?? quarter pounders?? Not sure. Nothing too twangy.

Neck: Mostly played clean on my mex strat. Jazzy warm tone.

As you can tell Im a newbie. Only ever played hotrails & quarter pounders. I play rock / blues / hendrix.

Help!!

Wah,
you might try looking at the reviews in the Vault ;)

Re: Bridge for fender strat usa

Id say, either a Custom Custom or JB in the bridge, Custom Custom is supposed to be very good in the bridge of a strat

for middle, SSL-3 Hot

and for neck, an APS

Re: Bridge for fender strat usa

do you want singles or buckers or ???
i love the sound of a lil 59 in the middle position. kinda kills the traditional quack though, is that important?

Re: Bridge for fender strat usa

what tones do you like?
what other equipment do you use?

when you say you dont want anything too hot for the bridge are you saying that you want something with less output than a hot rails?

Re: Bridge for fender strat usa

Equipment: Fender American Strat SSS -> Vox AD50VT

I don't need anything with really high output, but not less than stock. Not too much high end as going in bridge. (dont want shrill). Must be availible in white (as pickguard)

Basically something failry balanced, good for solos.

Unless you think I should replace the Mid instead - (quater-pound dont come in white? :smack:

Thanks - I am not worthy of your knowledge :notworthy:

Edit: Maybe SSL-3 Hot??

For the middle I something quite all-round for rock / blues, but not too quacky.

For bridge, not as hot as the hot rails, but high output. Not like shrill. Like the ssl-3 Hot ?? Whats this like?

Cheers.
