Hey guys,
My second axe is a Limited Edition Squier Standard Strat,it was a musician's freind deal with a fancy quilt looking finish and pearl guard.
Anyways its not too bad and all I got to back up my main axe.I decided the stock pickup was too bassy,so having done single coils befor I decided to peel windings,well the finer wire got the best of me.
Anyways what would be a good bridge humbucker.That along w/ a series/split/parallel switch could achive both a good stratty tone and yet in series be ballsy enough for evan metal.
The single coils are the factory ones with alnico magnet poles and measure in the mid-high 6K ohm range.
Its a rosewood board guitar with a medium weight body(wood unknown)and my amp is a dark sounding amp(Orange).
