bridge in the neck?

Can you put a bridge pickup in the neck position. Is there a way to make it sound good? I ask because I've been kicking around the idea of putting an Invader 7 in the neck of my RG 7621. However, I haven't found one voiced for the neck position, just the bridge. Any thoughts?

NEVER put an Invader bridge in the neck! It is muddy at times in the bridge!

I've used an APH-1b in the neck with great success. However, I would not put a bridge Invader in the neck. That would not sound good.

Re: bridge in the neck?

i dis the exact oposite as the guy above, the a2pro neck in the bridge is more trebly than i thought.
but very sweet sounding with the tone pot rolled off a bit.

people tell me its about the resonant peak, the higher the more trebles.
and the neck version of the a2pro has more resonance than the bridge.

maybe thats it !!
