I bought a new Jackson JS12Q DK last year and the neck is amazing and it stays in tune very nicely. So, I would like to invest in a bridge pickup with moderate output. I find the neck is great and I would like to upgrade the overall tone--clean tone especially. So, I was kinda leaning towards the APH-1 Alnico II Pro Bridge or the SH-1B.
I should mention that I have a JVM 410H with a 1960Av as well so I am good for distortion on the amp end so a high output pickup isn't really necessary. I have done a lot of research on the internet--reviews, overviews, videos, etc., but I am hoping for some suggestions on a pickup that will deliver a significant upgrade tone wise. I would appreciate any help I can get. Thx.
