Bridge pickup

I have a Yamaha Pacifica 1611 Mike Stern model which has a SD Hot Rails bridge and SD '59 Humbucker neck.

I want to replace the bridge pickup with something more vintage Telecaster sounding.

Looking at SD Vintage Stack Tele (preferred as noiseless) or SD Alnico Pro II Tele.

has anyone paired either with a '59, is there any compatibility issues.

Any guidance or advice appreciated as never changed pickups previous so no experience.

I don't think you'll have any issues with those. It comes down to preference really.

I'm a big Stern fan btw. Great guitar.

the vintage stack might be good once you adjust pup heights. if i was going single coil, id go for the jd tele bridge if you want an a2 lead pup. a little more mids than the aptl1 but still vintagey sounding. i think it would match the 59n a little better

The JD is my fave.
