Well, as some of you may know, I recently purchased a Phat Cat for the neck of my Epiphone. As some of you may also know, the machine heads are cheap pieces of pearloid... "excrement", to keep everything family friendly. I was getting a little fret buzz, so I decided to raise the tailpiece a bit. When loosening the strings, the pearloid button on one of my machine heads cracked and broke off (again). I just decided to remove the strings altogether, as I'm going to have my Phat Cat installed in the near future.
Anywho, I was just wondering about a bridge pickup, as I'm hocking a ton of my stuff tomorrow, and I'll soon have enough money (if only a little more than enough).
I'm very open to suggestions, so if you think you can help a Jimmy Page/David Gilmour/Jimi Hendrix/Adam Jones/Zakk Wylde/Randy Rhoads/Tony Iommi/Southern Blues-Rock loving boy out, I'd really appreciate it. :13:
I'm mainly looking for a Jimmy Page sort of tone for my Epi, as I can put a Custom Custom and/or a Pearly Gates in my Floyd Rose, and of course... it's a Les Paul (albeit a knockoff), which is THE Jimmy Page guitar, c'mon now.
Anyway, I'm really astounded at how helpful you guys have been so far. I really appreciate all the info you guys gave me in regards to my SPH90. Many thanks. :yourock:
