Bridge PU to make an SG the ideal companion to an LP

Re: Bridge PU to make an SG the ideal companion to an LP

Yeah but you just make me going even madder ! ahah!
Now I'll probably read thousand of comments on WLH vs Custom 5/custom 8, WLH set or WLH bridge with PG neck etc...

If I had only one guitar, maybe I would go with Whole Lotta HB in the bridge and Slash neck for the LP.

If the WLH is brighter than the Slash, might suit better my SG anyway (although I guess these were made for LP), cause I can't say whether my LP is on the bright side or not, but she definitely sounds brighter than my standard SG (maple top I guess and also thiner neck profile).

Still a lot of possibilities for the Standard SG (custom family, WLH, 498T8 etc...).

Going for a low output on the Standard SG as well, wouldn't be a probably anyway as I'm pretty sure at one point down the line, I'll get an Explorer dedicated for standard tuning Hi Gain (my SH4 loaded japanese Jackson JJ4 can do that, but she's a bit "lifeless" in comparison to my Gibsons). For an Explorer, I would go either SH5 or SH6 for sure.

A new though I'm having for the Standard SG (already ordered SH1/SH5 for the drop tuned one).

Since I'm basically hesitating between something like a WLH and a Custom....would the Hybrid 59/Custom be a nice choice in an SG ? (As far as output, yes I guess considering what I said, the EQ look very middy, not too much with the middy nature of an SG ?)
