Bridge pup for a DK2 Jackson

I need a bridge pup for a Dk2. I want something alil different and alittle bit aggressive.
By different, I mean the C5 is my fav and I have that in a couple of axes.
Im considering :
Screamin Demon - never played one. How does it compare to a C5?

Custom- How would this sound? How does it differ from a C5?

Distortion- never used one. How would it sound and compare to a C5? (HC reviews of the guitar have alot of guys saying they put these in the DK2 with good result)

Blues Trembucker- Love this one too, but not sure if its aggressive enough.

Thanks for your help!

Re: Bridge pup for a DK2 Jackson

i would try the custom. I never used one but a lot players say it's more aggressive than the C5 because of the ceramic mag

Re: Bridge pup for a DK2 Jackson

If it were me, I'd put the Distortion in there. It's definitely aggressive enough, and its tonal characteristics are just perfect for me (tight lows, low-mid spike, treble that cuts but isn't shrill). And it has more harmonics than most other pickups I've tried.

The DD or JB will sound great inb that guitar :)

Re: Bridge pup for a DK2 Jackson

I´d go with the Custom...more versatile than the DD, but still has a huge amount of attitude ;)

Re: Bridge pup for a DK2 Jackson

I have difficulty with mine finding the right pickup. Many pickups were shrill in my DK2. I started with a JB, went to a DD, then to an EVO. I bought a Custom Custom and a Breed. The Breed is in and sounds fantastic. It gives a HO PAF chime, while darker overall.

If you find yours to be like mine, I would look for a smoother treble. I still think the CC or an Invader would be great. I must say I don't worship the treble gods, but I still like my treble.
