Brighten n clarify?

Please remind me. Its been a long while since I did any rewiring. To brighten n bring up treble and high mids do I bring my values up or down on:

1 tone pots?
2 tone caps?
3 treble bleed resistors?
4 treble bleed caps?

I must be gettin alshiemers! I cant for the life of me remember. And I used to be a Naval Aviation Electronics tech! ( a Looooooong time ago)

Higher resistance volume pots will brighten and clarify everything.

Go with lower cap values if you want the tone controls to bleed off less highs when used.
