Well I know it's at least got a wah on it, that's what gives it that high end liquidy feel. The guy is using it more like a filter though, instead of rocking back and forth.

Don't think so, bro. Sounds like he's got some good pick control and a killer vibrato, and that's how he's getting the different vowel-like sounds out. He's constantly playing with the difference between a normally plek'd note and an artificial harmonic. It's a fun technique to use once you get the hang of it.

I know what you mean, but I'm pretty damned sure this guy has a wah on it...the the verse parts have this total Michael Schenker on crack 'awh' to it. Not all of it has a wah, though.
