Broadcaster STL1-B vs ANTIQUITY II™ TELE - BRIDGE - opinions

Hello !

Looking to upgrade the bridge pickup in a 2019 Fender Player Series Telecaster. Stock bridge plate/saddles have been replaced with Fender RI plate and three, aftermarket, compensated, brass saddles.

Neck is currently a Duncan Antiquity II Firebird which I am loving and will stay.

Looking to be somewhere between Keith Richards and Johnny Winter in sound. I'm an old Memphis boy that is a heavy rhythm player, favoring roots rock and blues.

Any thoughts or input on a bridge pickup is appreciated.

Thank you !

welcome to the forum!

i have an antiquity II fb pup in the neck of a tele too. love it! the antiquity II bridge pup is terrific if you want the bright clean tone old teles are known for. the broadcaster is a little punchier. with either youll need to set it pretty high to get close to balancing the output of the neck pup.

I liked the Ant 55 Tele Bridge most. Listen to the clips on the product page. Rounder highs, but more mids with a stagger.
