Brobucker Comes to Life! Lotsa pics!

I agree 1000%. I would also include Evan and Scott too. Scott is the one who put this all together and Evan put up with our b:censored:ching and moaning about a 10k bucker.

The question would be -- what do we do?

Good idea...but what should we do is the question.

Re: Brobucker Comes to Life! Lotsa pics!

Mine's here, and it's got my name on the box, and SD signatures all over the place. Damn!

So, do I put it in the maple topped semi-hollow body, or buy it something else special?

*scratches chin*

I know I will be ordering more Custom Shop pickups. We can thank them with our dollars :D

yes i paid $28 in shipping. i didnt even think about it, i just knew i wanted me some more 10k pups

I guess, truth be told, the multiple shipping charges weren't really that fair. But, I really wasn't thinking it through to be honest, plus I never expected anyone to order more than 1.

I guess you can blame it on me.

I must tell you though, that it was FAR LESS HASSLE for me looking back at it knowing that all I had to do was take the number of pups and multiply it by the $107.

There weren't too many international orders so that wasn't much to deal with.

Sorry if I accidently hosed a few of you guys. It never occurred to me until now when I just read the post where Fusion brought it up.

Someons should have brought it up when we were taking orders. Yeah, that's right. It's all you guys' fault. :smack:

Scott, you were nice enough to take this all on. You certainly didn't need more of a hassle than it already was. Don't worry about it. We all got a great humbucker from Duncan that we wanted. It cost $107. How much would it have cost if we didn't get the special deal? As far as I'm concerned you have nothing to apologize for.

Of course I was dumb enough to buy only one:smack:

Scott,
let's put it this way:

no one else (besides the other admins) has enough clout to put an end to the bickering and broker the deal to begin with, so the shipping would've been a moot point with no Brobucker

if any one else wants to step forward, set up a special Paypal account, keep track of the addresses, etc., then fine, if we could agree to trust someone else to begin with

I'm with jeremy: if you want, you can buy me a beer next time we go to SB. :)

the way I look at it though, I owe you one.

Re: Brobucker Comes to Life! Lotsa pics!

Yeah Scott, I'm with Jeremy and Corbic, I think we all owe you a beer bro! Thanks again for making this happen, without you, we'd be still ranting about a 10k humbucker, lol. Here's to ya.. :beerchug:

OK, let's meet up at Joe's Cafe in Santa Barbara. First one's on me. :D

Re: Brobucker Comes to Life! Lotsa pics!

Guys, I'm having a bit of a problem. Today, I got a bill from Seymour Duncan saying I didn't pay for the Brobucker, but I sent the money order to Scott, was down on the list and everything. This is my first Custom Shop order, so is this commonplace or was there some kind of mixup?

Re: Brobucker Comes to Life! Lotsa pics!

you should contact Scott_F

let him know your situation, as well as your payment method, name and address, etc.

don't take it personally, as with an order of 50+, there are bound to be some slip ups.

Re: Brobucker Comes to Life! Lotsa pics!

Why would they have even shipped it if they thought it wasn't paid for? Thats not how the CS works. Its right on the site what their terms are. Must be some kind of paperwork confusion

The only reason I'm buying you a beer is because your band plays "Tall Boy" from Panic. I think you may be the only person on this Forum that has seen a standing Mikey! I've owed you a beer for a long time!

Re: Brobucker Comes to Life! Lotsa pics!

Thanks guys, I PM'd Scott_F and hope to get this cleared up soon.

The funny thing is, my order was for the 13th Trembucker Brobucker, and my payment got to Scott on Friday the 13th in January :laugh2:

I got the same bill. I bought two them and paid Scott through Pay Pal. The bill also states "Prepay" in the payment terms so i'm thinking this is just Seymour's invoice procedure. I wouldn't think SD would ship custom made pickups to private consumers without a payment first.

Yes this is the case. I have gotten the prepay invoices on work from the CS before

Re: Brobucker Comes to Life! Lotsa pics!

I got the bill over the weekend, which threw me for a moment until I saw Pre-Payment in the Terms column along the top line.

I didn't realize it was brown delivering...

Now I'm gonna have to pay the custom fees (no problem) + their brokerage fees (50$)... damn...

I still can't wait tho :)

Not to be an ass or add insult to injury, but it was clear from the word go that Seymour Duncan only ships CS orders per UPS Blue......
