I have this pup that I pulled out of a guitar I got off the land of ebay a couple months back. It has a JBL sticker on the back but I don't guarantee that is what it is.
Anyway long story short, I think the screw coil is shot. When I first went to check it one of the lead wires was un-soldered. Using the info I gathered from this forum community I figured quick fix and resoldered it. But alas it gave me no reading. I get a reading of 8.22 off of the slug coil and nothing from the screw. I have no use for it and have no intention of getting a rewind on it. If there is anyone that was looking to make a hybrid and wants a JB slug coil then this would be perfect. Or if there is anyone that just wants to have a go at it and see if they can make it work.
Cover the shipping and it's yours.
Also, I ordered a few arch top pickup rings a few weeks ago and in the photos they were white but in my hands they are cream all day long. I have 5 brand new sets. Once again if anyone needs 1 of them or all of them cover the shipping and they will be on the way to you.
Hate that I can't just cover the shipping and good karma these things but I'm sure you all know how the GAS hits and every dolla dolla bill makes a difference in it's relief.
