I see a lot of cheap ones everywhere, but are they really worth it? Same with the Dean ML-X. I kinda want either one...

Re: BRonze Series Warlock?

No offense to anyone who may own one, but BC RIch Bronze series are not especially desirable. If you want a warlock to have one for cheap, for photos, rituals (j/k) or whatever, ok. But if you want a really nice guitar, there are better models.

Not sure about the dean you mentioned, Im sure someone can help with that.

Re: BRonze Series Warlock?

They kinda suck. Crappy woods, terrible hardware, weak-sauce construction, and awful pickups.

The only BC Richs I would consider getting are the NJ, ProX, and custom, and maybe some of the other non-series guitars.

What I like about BC Rich though, is that their cheap guitars really do look cheap. and their nice guitars look nice, so that makes it slightly easier to figure out what's a nice guitar and what isn't.

Re: BRonze Series Warlock?

I would only pick one of those up to butcher/practice building/painting on. And then - only for less than $100. However - they can be found in pawn shops all day long for that price.

Re: BRonze Series Warlock?

I suggest saving a bit more and atleast getting a platinum series if you can't afford the NJ models. That being said, if you can get one for really cheap and swap out the pups you might get something playable.

It's your money dude...

Re: BRonze Series Warlock?

There's *one* good Bronze model out there.

It has a single pickup, red bevels, string through bridge. I installed a Detonator in it, sounds awesome:

(Not mine.)

If you get a Platinum one, make sure it has a Floyd (Platinum Pro):

or string through bridge:

and not the two-post Fender looking bridge:
