i love white strats.... i've been playing a 99 MIM Standard in white with an all maple neck for about 6 years now... great deal on it and mine is almost stock.. only thing i did was rout the guard for HSS and installed a Duncan Custom... other then that it's stock... it's not a bad axe for the $199 used price i got it for!!!.. oneday i want to find a nicer version... an upgraded white one like this... i try some out in the stores but i don't find ones that really speak to me a lot... when i do i'll buy it

originally i was actually going to get a h/s/s one but the lace sensors were on sale and i wanted to use them so badly. if i got the h/s/s i woul have gone duncan distortion bridge/ hot rails middle/ jb jr neck for a reall cool unique set up but it wasn't meant to be i guess

that white pickguard is an amazing touch dude and so is the cream humbucker

i just also realized that scott's strat kinda looks a bit like mine, so much white strat love in this thread



edit: it's also amazing how much something as small as a pickguard can bring out the looks of the instrument more and compliment them perfectly

Sweet looking guitar! How do you like those Lace Sensors? Particularly the Red. From what I've read they seem to have a love-hate thing going on, like the JB or EMGs.

i le them, they are unique sounding and they bring out the characterists of the instrument really well, natural sounding, clean and dirty as hell. i dont know how to describe it other than that, sound clips possible since im moving to vermont on friday and i have webcam access with a mic so
