Re: 'Buckers For SG Standard?
I have a '59 and C5 in mine. Bought the guitar with those in it, so I can't compare with other set-ups. Initially, I thought I would change them out to something else, but I keep getting the tones I want...now I refuse to change them. Very versatile and warm sounding. I agree that at times the '59 may feel a little boomy on the lows, but I have a tendency to play with the volume control which helps with that. I like the idea of the Jazz in the neck, too. That I could be persuaded to try. Have one in an old Iceman and really like it. Let us know what you come up with.
