Budget strings?

Good budget strings? A Oxymoron?

I just picked up 2 setss of these striungs I have never heard of before. They are made in USA!
I did a quick look, and it seems they wrere made fpor a long time, discontinued, then now are being remanufactured?
Check this uout- 7.39 for two sets;

AND what aboutn these strings; SIT strings? 5 bucks a pack. Semi Flat wound. They have others;

The S.I.T strings are made in Akron,Ohio. A local store carries them. I've tried them and they are on par.

I get D'addario strings for 3.79 a pack at my local Best Buy.

I buy in 10 packs, so ernie ball 9's i think it ends up being around $4 au for a set.

I wouldn't necessarily consider those "budget" strings. Certainly they are not expensive strings, but I think of "budget" as being in the $2 range, such as...
