Re: Bugera Amps?
They're Chinese made, distributed by Beheringer in the USA. Dist By Bugera in Europe. I have a 6262 (clean and crunch on one and dirty on the other) has reverb and presence setting for each channel. It sounds pretty crappy clean unless you crank it a little...then it's not bad. The crunch is very very good. The hot channel is just that, very overdriven, but stays tight, especially with P-90's. It really likes "Good" pickups and doesn't treat cheap pups very well. I gave $550 for mine, new and it is well worth that. there is a newer model (333) that has 3 channels (all footswitchable) (can't footswitch to crunch on mine), but sounds absolutely identical. The 333 has more chrome on it than a 55 Buick...looks cool. The 333 has one reverb control for the amp and no presense control. For an inexpensive amp, it is a good buy, it's not a Bogner or Dr. Z, but not bad. They come with 6L6 tubes but can be changed to EL-34's with a bias reset. I really like mine. I've had it about a week and I have played it every day. It is NOT the best amp I have ever played. But, IMO, well worth the $$$.
