build you ideal studio......

Re: build you ideal studio......

I would also take studio fredman's and tico tico's drum rooms. Tico tico's drum room doesn't look like much but their drum sounds blow me away every time, the room has some great acoustics.

A modest start..... take into account most mics will be needed multiple times (for ex 4x sm 57 for a fullstack w/ 4 different drivers).......

Of course for a studio you also need effects.... We´ll start with an ART QuadraFX, A Digitech S-100 and Studio Quad, truckloads of Alesis and Lexicon Gear.....

I would essentially have every piece of rackmountable gear, A or D,that was ever produced, a premises the approximate site of the N.O. Superdome with mutliple rooms in multiple sizes, and of course that would mean multiple consoles and about 100x what has already been listed... tehn consider hat most of the studios would also be electronica-capable and therefore have such goodies as
Korg M1
Korg Prophecy
Akai MPC 2000
EEMu Proteus
Waldorf 2500
Roland TR-909
Roland TB-303

just to start......

and of course hundreds of Amps and Axes for visiting guitarists to use and /or Drool over, a few drum kits, bass amps.... The whole freaking works, baby ;)

I think I could blow Bill Gates´ fortune on studio gear within 2 weeks... ;)
