building a nashville telecaster

Greetings SD pickup lovers,
I'm building Nashville telecaster and wanted to use the Broadcaster pickup set but wasn't sure what to use for a middle pickup. I assume I want to use a strat pickup, but does it have to be rwrp? Are all strat middle pickups rwrp? Any information would be much appreciated.

Well, you can use rw/rp Strat pickup in the middle (an SSL-2 is a great choice, or a Five Two) if you want positions 2 & 4 to be hum-cancelling. Not all Strat middle pickups are rw/rp, and really it comes down to how much the single coil noise might bother you.
