My MIM lat 90's early 200's I'm finishing up and putting in rotation. Have a pair of Alnico II pros for the neck and middle that were in my old graphite neck mutt strat on hand. Used a SSL 5 in that guitar in the end and leaning that direction here but also looking at the Stratabo 90 or ??
This is the guitar Ghoto lockers and a solid steel block so far. The AP II neck and middle also will go in when I pull her down just need to settle on the bridge pickup and do a little set up tweaking on her to finish it.

David Gilmour uses the SSL5 I believe.

I love Duncan's, but for the bridge pickup, my favorite is the Fralin SP43. Like a Strat sized P90...sort of.

Just went with a SSL5 and should be here next week. Tried and true combo for me that I have used on several strat style guitar in the past. Ran both SSL1's with a SSL5 in the bridge and AP II's and got great results. This one will use the AP II "s I pulled out of the old mutt with the SSL5.

Duncans: Quarter Pound (not noise cancelling though)
Dimarzio: Virtual Solo
Tom Anderson: SA2+

I also run SSL-1s with a SSL-5, which is a bit too much and dark for my taste. So i use a special circuit with a 500k pot, and a 500k resistor in parallel with it for the neck and mid.
