hi guys
i am building a steel body LP for one of my customers
time to share some pictures
the design is a regular LP shape
to give it that extra more we give it some perforated parts
first we cut out some lines on the top of the guitar that we are going to fill with the perforated plate
we choose for perforated honeycomb and we are gonna do the sides in the same design

here are the parts cut
ready for assembling
the guitar get a Black and white relic finish
the neck will be in a black stain (but i am not gonna use stain for that) ;)

That guitar is going to look pretty interesting. You can call it a Dobro Les Paul.;)

Hard to tell on my tappy device, is it flat top, are you going to cold work in an arch?
Bet it turns out good either way.
Plasma cut?

Do you do all the bending of the sides by hand, or do you pre roll it into the general shape you want?

the customer wanted a black painted neck
but it looks like the neck has a light flame
so i stain the neck in black and sand it smooth so the light flame is still visible
