Now, try some GEC KT-66 power tubes just for tone blessed fun, but only if the power transformer can handle the increase current for the KT-66 heaters.

Tweaked and ready. That's an Area 51 bias modulated Tremolo add on. I bought it about five+ years ago. Forgot about it. Found it when I moved. Sounds pretty flipping good.

One day I will have Scott build my ULTIMATE blues/rock amp.

40 watts
Channel 1 - Pristine clean w/ a bright switch, but not too much bright
Channel 2 - a wide range of grit from a touch of hair to distortion and takes a dirt pedal well
I'm thinking a Texas Heat speaker
FX Loop
And a PEAVEY VALVERB as the Trem/Reverb!

PS: Great looking amp.

Hard to find GEC's any more. Good PT like the ones I get from Merc can handle it. The Heyboers can as well.
