Building your first pedal...

I'm quite interested in building my own pedals. For the first one I was thinking about an MXR Microamp. It seems rather straightforward, doesn't need that many parts... I guess I could get it together for about 30 or so euros. What I don't know though would be where to get the casing? I have websites for everything else (General Guitar Gadget for the diagrams and Banzaii effects for the parts: advise if you know better!). Also if you have any idea about simpler pedals... But I think I will need a boost sooner or later

That looks like a straightforward build. About the only simpler ones I can think of are the single Q boosts with fewer parts like the rangemaster, LPB or the NPN boost at diystompboxes.com.

There's probably someone in the Netherlands who sells the Hammond 1590 series boxes. If not, a local metal shop might bend up several enclosures for you, or you can use junction boxes.
