Burstbucker 3 replacement recommendation

Hey crew
So I have a 2010 gibson les paul traditional pro with a 57 neck and a burstbucker 3 bridge pickup. I play through a marshall Jvm210c and a bogner alchemist combo. Now although the bb3 is very close to what I'm after, the eq is just a tad too much in the upper mids and it makes it (best description) quack. Also the 57 in the neck is quite twangy and I don't like that at all.
My main focus for neck pickups would be an amazing clean tone. I have a Indonesian g&l asat tele with the jumbo single coils and that is the tone I'm after when clean. But it of course must work with the bridge pickup when distorted.
The bridge pickup I like a smooth distortion with plenty of power. Strong trebble, tons of mids and no focus on increased bass response. I do like the way the bb3 drives the amp and the distortion it achieves but just a bit more emphasis on mids and less on the upper mids.
I play rock and hard rock more than anything else. Trying to think of artists with tone I appreciate and coming to mind is muse, tool, highly suspect. I like slashs tone but I'm not quite sold on the slash set. I have been thinking of the whole lotta humbucker set or a custom jb with ceramic magnets but I'd love to hear your thoughts.
I really like the Seth lovers but I'm looking for more drive.
Thanks for your assistance!

Sorry I should also mention I need wax potted pickups for the high gain the jvm can produce.

The first thoughts that came to me were the Brobucker, Custom 5, or the Burstbucker 2. The BB 2 is a little cleaner sounding than the 3.

First I'll just say that I have BGF Les Paul wiht Burstbucker3 in the bridge and I use JVM410 and I absolutely LOVE that guitar/pickup into that amp.

But what came to mind is one of the custom-series pickups, alnico2 being the warmest, alnico5 good mids and ceramic with good treble. They have good power too that you can doo hard rock and even metal on them but you can also do blues on'em. Also The Screamin' Demon has good high end and power or the 59/Custom hybrid.

I'm a fan of the BB3 as well, but for what the OP is suggesting some flavor of a Custom for the bridge would probably work well. As for the neck, I like the jazz but that may be too thin as well.
