at around $500, maybe it'd be worth it, but not near the price of a new one.

I'm personally of the belief that if you need to take a sander to remove material from a guitar you're going to be better off just having a custom one built.

...and anyone who drills a hole or removes material for EMGs needs to take a bullet to the brain-pan.

Riiiiiight, the "previous owner" did all that, sure buddy. :laugh2:

I've never understood doing stuff like that to an expensive guitar. Even if the mods were done by a good luthier, the resale value has been completely destroyed. Not a big deal if you really like the outcome and you plan to keep the guitar and never sell it. But this will never sell for $1000.

Looking at the those fret ends at the end of the neck will give me nightmares for the rest of my days .... Yeesh ... and hey those scallops were amazing

Interesting instrument but worth half of what he's asking, at most. I actually don't think it's such a bad guitar but the fret work and nonexistent scallops make me questions the guys integrity.
