I wanted to just emphasize this to our forum members. I've seen a dozen or so threads lately, where someone's question, or problem, could have been instantly solved with a cheap meter. I have one right here that I got at Harbor Frieght for $3. You may not find one that cheap, but you can generally find one for $10, or less.
If you're going to work on your guitar, it just doesn't make sense to not have one. Don't get me wrong . . . I love helping people out, as do most others here, but you could save yourself a lot of aggravation if you make it a mandatory addition to your "guitar tool kit".
