Range of the garage?? Dude, your wayy off bashing what I'm trying to sell. It has a range of just how far it says, tested it myself. The thing works just fine in every way it says it's supposed to.

With me it didn't affect my tone, i have bandmates that can prove that. It's kinda noisy if you use insane amounts of gain but on lighter dist. and clean it's clear as a bell. Well, the range is...i dunno, cuz I've tested it all the way out to a stop sign and that some odd 100ft i think? Had someone inside that said it started goin when I got that far, but lets be serious, who goes more than 20 feet from it. It's the best unit you can find at the price it is new. I did tons of research to find one that wouldn't suck. I just don't ever play venues big enough for it and I need money.

umm, why would you need it in the first place if not to go more than 20 ft from it. if youre gonna stay in the 20 ft range might as well just get a 10 dollar chord. these are meant for running around and going insane on stage not staying next to the amp.

I have the same wireless. Only reason I bought it was because they were cheap, and it looked like a fun toy. Turned out to be pretty kickass.
I can't say much about whether it affected the tone. At the time, my primary guitar was an Ibanez 7 string with stock pickups, so I kept the gain cranked on the body pack to compensate for the sucky pups.
The "range of a garage" is way off base, as well. The place we lived where I owned it had a pretty big back yard, so I had my wife sit by the amp, and went walked out back playing. She was supposed to tell me when it started cutting out. I'd guess I was at least 250 feet away, and she said it never cut out.
I paid more for mine that he's asking, and it was worth it to me to not have my son tripping over my cable
