Buying a practice amp

I've narrowed it down to a Roland MicroCube or a Kustom Tube 12A. I just need something to jam in my room or noodle around with when I'm watching TV. Not really looking to record w/it since I have the POD for that. Just getting sick of having to wear headphones when I'm just practicing licks. Any info is appreciated :)

Small old valco, Supro, Magnatone, National, Oahu, D!ckerson, Gretsch, etc. amps are soooo the sex!

At least they are to me.

Happy MicroCube owner here. It's perfect for low-volume practice, IMO.

Vox Valvetronix AD15 best little practice amp I've ever had.

Hey Iceman I love your idols list, right ****ing on bro!

Re: Buying a practice amp

Fender Frontman Series are good practice amps for the price. The 15G is is quiet enough for private playing but can get pretty loud for its size. The 15R is the same as the 15G but has reverb. The 25R is loud and has reverb. This is the one I use to practice on. The 15's have closed back and the 25R is open. All of them have a drive and clean channel. I will admit, the clean channels are not that good on the 15G and 15R. I know this is not any of the options, but you should look into them.
