Buying- Distortion pedal and/or Schecter Tempest

I have a ZT mini amp, and I'd like a decent distortion pedal for it. As for the guitar, I'll only buy if its as close to new condition as possible. Of course that's up to me to decide, but I'm not to strict about that. Won't spend anymore than $700 because a brand new Schecter Tempest Custom is about $700 average, New. So used is gonna be less.

How much distortion are you looking for, what style of music are you playing?

Um. Well not too much, any moderate distortion pedal works. Something like the Boss model. And I'm playing from a range of metal all the way to classic rock. Mainly metal though. As long as it has a good punch to it.

I'd say take a look at the AMT pedals, they've got everything from Marshall crunch to Diezel crush.
