C#m funky blues jam

Re: C#m funky blues jam

I love listening to this clip. It's a lesson in phrasing and vibrato.

The transition to the dirty tone is downright raunchy!

Most awesome swell at 2:23 :)

You use special techniques very tastefully... never overdoing them.

For my tastes, you might be the verge of playing too much near the end of the clip... then again, if you played less I'd probably ask for more!

Thanks Rid.

Re: C#m funky blues jam

That was some pimp sounding stuff man. Nice little jam. I like your whammy bar, or what sounded like one, technique. Also some cool sounding raking and pinch harmonics. Some parts you played reminded me of Van Halen; is he an inspiration to you?

Re: C#m funky blues jam

that was cool stuff, Rid.

Bluesy stuff at the begining and then that modern-rock-fusion thing at the end. Beautifull delayed sound...where do you get that from?? ;)

Watch for my take, I did it before listening to yours.

cheers.

Re: C#m funky blues jam

Thanks guys:)
Sorry about the late reply, had been alittle busy the last couple of days:)
It was a fun one to redo, I used one guitar and one dirt pedal:D
So that was a thing all by it self.
VH an inspiration...man along with alot of other, pinches I digged by listening to the same player as Eddie did, B Gibbons;)
I used the delay from my Quattro effect, along with the compressor.
The backing is from an old HC jam.
