The DD should be a JB and the C5 will become a custom but, even more so because the magnet in the DD is larger than a custom magnet. It should be like a custom with a little bit more custom to it.

I dont think it makes a difference. I think they are the same length magnets.
The distortion magnet is thicker than a custom ceramic magnet though. It should work fine.

What would it sound like to have the customs smaller ceramic magnet in the tb-6
Would it give it more/ less mids or highs?
I know the C5 magnet would make the tb-6 a JB

correct the tone will be custom ceramic but it will have more output and be a bit tighter due to the increased magnet strength
