I have been playing a Quad Reverb for over 30 years with every pickup you could imagine playing every style of music. You have an amazing versatile amp. However, to get even the slightest amount of dirt or funk you will need some type of stomp. IMO a MXR Dist+ or a DOD 250 pairs up nicely with that amp.

Well OK, did the exchange thing for a CC.Much better! Nice Amp break up. EQ much more what I was looking for. I think it's kind of PG b on Steroids! Has nice sweet high's/good Mid's/plenty of Punch and surprisingly good when Split! Good match for the PG neck. Pretty satisfied for a first test drive.Will still tweak of course.
